Wow, haven't had one of these things since high school.
What I'm probably going to do with it is use it as a place to write up a lot of my clinical experiences at the hospital since I'd like to be able to look back at some point and recall in better detail some of the wacky fun that ensued.
So if you haven't guessed, I'm a nursing student. Currently in my Junior year, so if i get threw this and one more (as well as some board exams) I'll be a full fledged assister of the people. Scary thought, eh?
Oh, and I also happen to think I'm a dragon (otherkin).

It's been a while, and since I've switched focus in my studies to work on a Gerontology minor i will also switch gears in what i am most likely to do with this thing.
One of the main loves in life are comics. Not the stereotypical 50's super heroes sort (though i do have a few of those as well) but rather ones with a more focused plot, character development, and flow when reading threw a page.
I personally feel that comics are the ultimate artistic expression of beauty (when done right) combining both elements of literary work along side illustrations with a flow of story that goes beyond anything a picture book could do.
Away from being artsy nerd on to being a nerd.
if i provide any links to comic packages in my posts you'll probably need these two programs to be able to deal with them:
Win Rar (the program used to open the comic package)
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9FMTQ4TO
The program used to read the comics

I've started online comic downloads as a way to discover new issues by authors I had never even heard of (or would hear of since my local comic shop only provides the main stream stuff). And since i am a trade paperback collect as opposed to buying single issues each week i find that from reading them online i can determine what i like so as to by it when it comes out in trade.
Thus the scanner mantra:
Like it? Buy it!
